Chinese Firms Recognized for Green Development at 6th World Media Summit

Asian Aussie Business Times | Chinese companies were recognized for their efforts in promoting green development and digital transformation at the 6th World Media Summit held in Beijing and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The event, themed “Artificial Intelligence and Media Transformation,” brought together over 500 delegates from 106 countries and regions to discuss the evolving media landscape in the age of intelligence. Attendees had the opportunity to witness China’s advancements in intelligent technologies and learn about the initiatives of Chinese companies in driving sustainable development.

During the summit, media professionals visited Sinopec’s Green Hydrogen Demonstration Project in Xinjiang, which is the country’s first 10,000-tonne photovoltaic hydrogen production site. The project utilizes solar energy to produce clean hydrogen with minimal greenhouse gas emissions, showcasing China’s commitment to green energy. Delegates viewed this project as an inspiration for addressing climate change and promoting environmentally responsible development worldwide.

Another highlight of the summit was the visit to CHN Energy’s facility in Urumqi, where guests experienced Xinjiang’s renewable energy initiatives through VR experiences and video presentations. The facility demonstrated the efficiency and convenience of digital and intelligent energy management. The achievements of Chinese companies in green and intelligent transformation were evident throughout the summit, including the showcase of Voyah’s electric vehicle, which impressed attendees with its quiet and comfortable ride.

Overall, the summit highlighted China’s progress in sustainable development and technological innovation, leaving a lasting impression on the international media community during the World Media Summit.
